JMCC Evolving Statement on Hurricane Melissa

As the Board of the Jamaican Museum and Cultural Center (JMCC), our hearts are heavy as we witness the devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica and throughout the Caribbean. Our thoughts are with everyone who has lost loved ones, homes, and livelihoods in this tragedy.

In this moment, we are reminded of the resilience that defines the Jamaican spirit: a strength rooted in solidarity. At JMCC, we are committed to partnering with reputable organizations to share information about resources and aid to the people of Jamaica.
