OUR VISION

WHAT’S OUR VISION?

The vision of the Jamaican Museum and Cultural Center is to preserve the traditions of Jamaican culture among Jamaicans and their descendants living in the Diaspora. We aim to disseminate these customs, traditions and subcultures through our online and physical museums across the globe.

 OUR MISSION

WE ARE A COMMUNITY

The Mission of The Jamaican Museum and Cultural Center is to investigate, compile, and document the history of Jamaica from its genesis, through its struggles, to its victories, as seen in the celebration of its outstanding artists, musicians, literary scholars, scientists, inventors, medical experts, beauty queens, outstanding athletes, political influencers, and business experts, who have contributed to shaping the world in unique ways.

To collaborate with other cultures in the Caribbean, through the visual and performing arts and cuisine, to offer educational and professional resources that provide opportunities for Jamaicans in the Diaspora and descendants of Jamaicans to achieve their greatest human potential, and to acquire the first physical structure by Jamaicans in the United States of America to house the operations of a Museum and Cultural Center that will elevate Jamaica abroad.
